I think the thing about being young I am going to miss the most is being a fangirl.
I mean its alright when your a teenager, but when you are 30 and have kids it just gets weird. I am going to miss this so much.
Um. I’m 26? (Almost 27?) And married?
39, partnered, met my partner through…
HAHAHHAHAHAA OMG that’s funny.
I don’t know if you’ve noticed this, but the world is actually made up of fandoms. Wedding fandom. Baby fandom. Being-a-mummy fandom. Politics fandom. Sports fandom. Academia is a fandom. Fantasy football is a fandom. Religions are fandoms. Cooking, knitting, reading, makeup, fashion, tea, coffee, travel, beer, art: all fandoms. Once they go mainstream they’re not quite as awesome, but they’re still fandoms!
There’s no switch that makes you mature once you reach a certain age, I promise you. You just end up with more money and more autonomy, that’s all.
Being passionate about things, all the things you can, is the only thing that makes you successful in life.
Never stop fangirling.
LOL, I spent 3 years of my life in parenting fandom, and my god that is the wankiest thing that ever wanked. Anyone who thinks fandom is wanky needs to go to a parenting board and ask for a formula recommendation. And dude, popcorn.gif.
I’ve always been a fangirl and I think I always will be, but that’s because I’m totally obsessive. I just get enthusiastic and obsess about things I love, and that is never going away. And I don’t want it to! I love it, and I have especially loved it for the last decade after I found people online to share it with. :-)
